A man sought as a "person of interest" was not involved in the Arizona shooting case, said Jason Ogan, public information officer for the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
The man, whom Ogan did not identify, went to the sheriff's office after seeing his picture on television. After questioning, officials determined that he had no involvement in the shootings, Ogan said.
Sheriff Clarence Dupnik had previously said there was a strong possibility that a second person was involved.
